šŸ—³ļø ICYMI: What Voters Need to Know About Mesquite ISD Proposition A

On November 3, Mesquite ISD voters will considerĀ Proposition A, a Voter-Approval Tax Rate Election (VATRE). If approved, Proposition A is projected to generateĀ approximately $16 million in additional operating revenue each year. The additional funding wouldĀ support recruiting and retaining educators and staff, student programs and opportunities, and district-wide safety and security.Ā Learn more about Proposition A here.Ā

Mesquite ISD Athletics celebrated a new chapter in its rich athletic history on Friday, September 4, as the Class of 2026 was formally inducted into the Mesquite ISD Athletics Hall of Honor.Ā Click here to read more about the newest inductees.Ā

🤼 Get on the Mat: Youth Wrestling Camp

Ready to get on the mat?Ā IncomingĀ 1st–6th gradersĀ are invited to join MISD Athletics for theĀ District Youth Wrestling CampĀ for an evening of wrestling games and skill-building!

Whether they're new to wrestling or looking to sharpen their skills, campers will get moving, learn from MISD wrestling coaches and have plenty of fun along the way.

šŸ§‘ā€šŸ³ MHS Culinary Students Serve Winning Recipe at AT&T Stadium

Mesquite High School Culinary ArtsĀ students took theirĀ award-winning recipeĀ from the competition kitchen toĀ AT&T StadiumĀ on Sunday, Sept. 20, serving fans during a Dallas Cowboys game.

The opportunity followed the students’ first-place finish in theĀ Taste of the Cowboys Youth ChallengeĀ last spring. As the winning team, the students earned the chance to prepare and serve their chicken birria tacos at a Cowboys game, along withĀ $10,000 for the MHS Culinary Arts program.Ā Learn more about this unforgettable achievement and experience!
